Still on the fence

We are still on the fence about having a kid. The car has been purchased...well leased. Some money has been set aside. We will visit the issue again late January/early February. Soo....till then check out our other blogs!

  1. Hi Kelli & Darren,

You guys don't know me. I guess you can say I've been cyber-stalking you for the last six months I guess. I stumbled upon your blog looking for other folks dealing with fertility issues like my husband and myself. I actually have no trouble conceiving....it's keeping the pregnancies that I have a problem with. I have lost five pregnancies over the course of the last three years and was diagnosed with MTHFR and Lupus Anticoagulant (blood disorders) that my doctors believed to be the cause of my losses. I was on the blood thinner shots and heavy doses of folic acid for the last three pregnancies and still lost them. I've been tested for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and had a complete chromosome panel done to see if that was the problem and it wasn't. Aside from it being something wrong with my husband's chromosomes (he'll be tested in January) we're at a loss as to what is causing all my losses. I wanted to write to you guys and ask you to please not to give up hope that this will happen for you. I know it's hard to believe that sometimes because I have been there. I know a woman who had 8 miscarriages between her two children and at that time no one really knew why. After my 2nd loss I thought there would be no way I could go through that many because you lose a little part of you each time it happens but here I am with five losses behind me and I am determined to keep trusting in God to give us a child of our own some day. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers because I'm sort of right where you are and can totally relate.

I could probably go on forever and tell you my whole story but I'll spare you the boring details. =)

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
